Hello! Here I am at 20 weeks and at the halfway point of this third pregnancy! I’m feeling good and also feeling a lot like the very hungry caterpillar… who is still hungry. We just had our 20 week sonogram and got to see our baby wiggle around a whole lot. We resisted finding out gender again, so another delivery room surprise it will be!
I’m trying to savor this whole experience, but am in awe at how fast it’s flown by. It seems like just ten minutes ago that I was weeping non-stop during Cece’s first day of kindergarten. That afternoon, after I told Joe about the unusual degree of my crying that day, he asked me, “Are you SURE you’re not pregnant?” Maybe??? Cue the pregnancy tests (view them here).
I took one that afternoon (even though the best time to take a test is in the morning) and immediately got a bright bold positive. I’ve literally never seen a result develop so fast. In that moment, I had two feelings. One was “OH! That makes a lot of sense!” and my second reaction was “YESSSSSS!!!” Oh, hormones.
After that point, I still invested in a variety of tests (I wanted a few more confirmations, but honestly, I just love seeing the positive result appear before my eyes.)
Now that we’re at the halfway point and the holidays have almost come and gone, I have my sights set on using these next four months to get all of my ducks in a row and to-do lists completed before baby arrives. That also means the Pinterest-browsing, name-brainstorming, and online shopping has begun.
On that note, I’m excited to announce that I am doing a giveaway for a $50 gift card to diapers.com!
Whether you’ve only thought about baby-having, are currently in the process of growing a human (like myself), or already have a house of rambunctious mini-mes (also like myself), they offer products for moms and kids at every stage!
Here are a few goodies I have been eyeing up:
For myself:
Kickee Pants Basic Robe for possibly for maternity/hospital pics and then relaxing at home after coming home from the hospital,
Shea Moisture Body Butter since I love Shea brand everything!
JJ Cole Backpack Diaper Bag for our hospital stay and life post-baby (I love that it’s structured, neutral, and can allow you to go hands-free when out and about!)
For my kids:
VTech Kidizoom Camera Pix so my kids can take their mitts off my camera
Hunter boots in fuchsia because Hunter boots in fuchsia. (This might be more for me than them.)
Melissa & Doug Cutting Fruit Crate as a great accompaniment to our play kitchen
For new baby:
Baby Deedee Sleep Nest with glow in the dark zipper! How great for people who are bad at swaddling and who also can’t see in the dark.
Sage Spoonfuls Big Batch Storage Set for all of our baby feeding needs
Manhattan Toy Paytime Pond Playmat since babies are crazy about all that sensory goodness (and I like the idea of adding a pond to our living room dΓ©cor)

I would stock up on cetaphil and bandaids. Boring but we go thru them! π
So fun! Addie would be spoiled with Melissa & Doug Arts and Crafts and Playdough. Also, we’d be outside our gift card prob, but she grew out of her old hunter boots, so I’d get her a pair for spring! π Sending love!
I would purchase some new clothes for my daughter! We love Carter’s products. Thanks for the chance to win!

Beautiful and I am so excited. You are an amazing mom. You can just see how happy your girls are.
Omg. We’ve been using Shea Moisture on the kiddos since H was a newborn! And now I use it on myself too. I would DEFINITELY be picking up some for myself (bc, self-care, right?)
