Hello! I hope your Valentine’s Day is off to a wonderful start. I love any excuse for treat-making, card-sending, chocolate-eating, and decorating so I’ve always been pro-Valentine’s Day. This morning I snuck out of bed early to make Joe breakfast so he could wake up to the smell of bacon without burning his foot (Michael Scott, anyone?) and give him a couple small gifts. And apparently I was not sneaky, as a six-month pregnant lady does not simply get out of bed. There’s lots of effort and commotion, so it’s really the least sneaky thing there is. Still. As early as it was, I enjoyed having a breakfast date together since it’s Tuesday and Joe will be working late. Once the girls were up and ready (and also given a few little treats), we headed to Cece’s school for the book fair and breakfast. And that, my friends, is how Valentine’s Day is done. Rosie and I have no plans for the rest of the day, except for trying not to overdo it on the chocolates.
We took these above photos over the weekend and made some cards to send out… hopefully the recipients will get them today or in the not too distant future. Both girls have actually become enthusiasts about holiday-themed photos so these were actually very fun and easy to take!
No matter what your plans are, I hope you enjoy your day!
XOXO
