Good morning and happy Sunday! It’s been awhile since I took out my camera and just snapped a few photos of my own kids around our house. So on Thursday morning I did just that. And then I made the photos black and white because black and white = artsy. And I really want all of you people to think I’m artsy. (Also, the kids’ clothing colors were all wild and non-matching, so it’s just less distracting this way.) The above photo is one of my favorites as it’s the face of a little man who just got busted trying to play in the dog’s food and water dish again. I was only able to stop him because he walks slower than he can crawl.   I think these photos successfully convey a few truths in life right now: Rosie’s unwavering love for the dog and her little brother, Cece feeling SO READY for summer break, and Ares’s passion for clearing out the cupboards and victoriously swimming in the contents. I am aware that I am smack dab in the sweetest, messiest, funniest season of my life right now and I want to get back to taking more photos of these little moments. Because it all just passes so quickly! I remember so clearly when Cece (who is nearly in second grade now) was small like Ares and just taking tiny steps with fat feet. Excuse me while I go weep into my coffee now.
