June 2019

I feel like summer has barely begun, but somehow, we are already one-third of the way through it. And the days are on their way to being darker and shorter again… eek. That’s not very glass-half-full of me to say, but I think it puts into perspective how brief and beautiful this time of year…

Easter 2017

Easter weekend turned out to be lovely in all sorts of ways.  Even though it rained on Saturday morning and our neighborhood egg hunt became more of a mingle with the Easter bunny and friends at one of our neighbor’s houses (still complete with eggs, treats, and plenty of excited kids.), everyone still enjoyed themselves. On Saturday afternoon we…

Dom turns one!

Last weekend, our sweet and smiley nephew Dominic turned one! We celebrated by living out all of our gymnastics dreams at North Crest Kids Activity Center. It’s really a toss up as to whether the kids or the adults had more fun. I mean, trampolines and foam pits! Don’t be surprised if my 30th birthday…

Easter 2015

What is more egg-cellent than Olaf the snow man Easter eggs?(Perhaps ham and cheesy potatoes. That’s what.)   But really, Easter was lovely. We stayed in St. Cloud this weekend and on Sunday we celebrated the resurrection of Christ, spring, and new beginnings.    Cece and Michaela had the time of their lives riding on Michaela’s four-wheeler. April via iPhone

I’ve been a wee bit behind on backing up my iPhone photos. Now that they are finally off my phone, here is an overdue post of my favorites from April.     ^^^ Joe’s Birthday ^^^     ^^^ Being out and about ^^^       ^^^ Snuggling at home ^^^             ^^^…

Easter Sunday 2013

This year’s Easter Sunday consisted of a small-ish crowd in St. Cloud. I was glad for the snow finally melting and plenty of ham and cheesy potatoes to go around. Cece got a head start on the egg hunt and learned the art of unwrapping foil-covered chocolate eggs REALLY fast. She also kindly…

Christmas 2012

We hope you had a memorable and lovely holiday. As for ourselves, we spent Christmas Eve with Joe’s immediate family in St. Cloud (which was a cozy crowd of 23). Cece raked in some awesome gifts, including a shopping cart so we can pretend we are at Target all…

Family Photos

Thanks to my sister-in-law Angela, we have some great new family photos taken this weekend in St. Cloud. She did a wonderful job. She captured the three of us looking happy and left out the four dogs running amok and the two assistants needed to get Cece to smile. Although all the men were deer…

Pumpkin Party

Yesterday a few of my sis-in-laws and I attended a little Halloween party hosted by grandma. To be clear, this meant five adults, yes. It also meant that the other six attendees were four years old or younger. We carved princess pumpkins, got the kids in costume for a good 10 minutes for pictures, watched a…

New baby, new puppies, and a new grad!

My little sister-in-law Rachel just graduated high school and is now U of M bound. So, we made a jaunt up to St. Cloud this weekend to eat all of the cake and take third helpings in the buffet line celebrate the occasion with her. (I swear, Cece does eat food other than cake!) It was some good quality…
